Hi! I’m E.
I'm a visual designer and writer based in Edmonton, Canada, with a background that spans advertising, UX, and service design. Since graduating with Honours from OCAD University in 2023, I've collaborated with directors, production studios and advertising agencies across Los Angeles, Singapore, and Toronto; and my work has travelled to places I haven't yet, which only gives me more reasons to go.
One of the things I love most about design is how naturally it connects people. I co-founded a small studio called Lemniscate with a developer friend in Germany, and some of my most rewarding projects have come from working across cultures and time zones.
I'm drawn to big, thorny problems; the kind that send you deep into research rabbit holes and make you rethink assumptions. My thesis on AI and design won the Nora E. Vaughn Best Student Work Medal at OCAD, and my team also took home a Herman Miller Best in Festival award during DesignTO. Not a bad start.
When I'm not designing, I'm probably reading, writing, or planning my next reason to get on a plane.
August 2024 to Current
Design and development of pitch treatments for advertising campaigns. Advanced layout creation, visual accumulation, and high-quality final visual treatment files. Strategic insights and project schedule management. Collaboration with directors, production houses, and writers.
May 2024 - August 2025
Lead pitch writing for treatments on advertising campaigns, aligning with creative vision and project objectives. I weave compelling story concepts, characters, and themes into a tapestry of engaging narratives. Collaboration with other creative professionals, such as directors to strengthen the treatment, as well as revisions and addressing concerns and feedback.
May 2024 - August 2024
Design, visual research, and development of treatments for advertising pitch campaigns. Reporting to the Direction team for collaboration.
November 2022 - June 2023
Director of OCAD's Industrial Design GradEx show this year. Selecting members of student committee, task delegation, shaping of the show's general look and feel. Also handled treasurer responsibilities, including donations from sponsors and students, and receipt filing.
April 2022 - May 2022
I was selected by OCAD to participate in the Designing for Diversity 2022 exchange between OCADU and ENSCI Les Ateliers, in Paris.
Over the course of the exchange, my team conducted research on site at Ile St.Denis and designed a system to improve the life of the residents there. Our solution also gave the residents a way to celebrate their unique cultural backgrounds. This challenge was uniquely difficult - as in France there is a very different mentality to diversity than in Canada.

Optimizing of E-Rank, Instagram and other e-commerce services. Line sheet creation and accessory design. Due to my excellent work CANVAS now has a spot in Glamour UK magazine's webshop.
